Deer Hunt

Fully guided hunt for a white-tailed doe, a management buck or a trophy buck.

Price

  • $350 for a doe, $200 per point for management buck, and $2,500 and up for a trophy buck.
  • If the hunter wants to field dress and clear their own animals, there is no additional charge. Our guides can both field dress and/or quarter and clean your animals for an additional fee.
  • Family members or friends that are 12 years old or older, can come on the hunt to watch for a fee of $20 per person.

Details

  • All hunts are fully guided. The pricing of the hunt includes a guaranteed shot at the animal of choice, in this case either a white-tailed doe, a management buck, or a trophy buck. There are abundant white-tailed deer on the property, and if someone pays for a certain white-tailed (doe/management buck/trophy deer), we will do everything in our power to get you in a position to get an ethical shot on that animal, this includes bringing the hunter back over several days if needed in order to get a shot on the deer of choice.

What to Expect

  • If for some reason, the class of deer someone has paid for is simply not present or we do not get you an ethical shot opportunity, then all money will be refunded EXCEPT a $250 fee, which is a very minimal fee required to pay our guides in the event they spend hours or days of time with you and cannot get you the animal of your choice.
  • If both Hunter and Guide agree there is clear evidence the shot entirely missed the deer, we will NOT charge anything beyond the standard $250 hunting fee, and will refund the rest of the money paid.
  • If the hunter takes an ethical shot, the hunter wounds the deer and the animal is never recovered, we will charge the full amount for that animal.  We have had several deer lost in years past from poor shots, that is simply part of hunting. We completely understand this, however we also spend a lot of money raising and feeding these animals, and do not believe we should pay the financial burden that comes with losing animals from poor shot placements. The solution for this is to practice and come back next year as a better hunter, not to get a free hunt after wounding one of our animals.
  • Our hunting guides help extensively in the search for shot animals, but if we actually have to call in tracking dogs, the hunter will be required to pay that fee before they can leave our land with their animal in hand.

License Needed

  • Texas Hunting License is required for all hunts.

Experience Required

  • No prior experience is required.
  • We highly encourage family and youth hunts, but we do charge an additional fee for children younger than 12 years old who want to learn to hunt.

What to Bring

  • Guns: You can bring your own or use one of ours.
  • Attire: Dress appropriately based on the weather conditions. Snake boots are always recommended.
  • Food/Beverage: We encourage hunters to bring plenty of water and snacks in case they get hungry while hunting.
